It all began with a love of Wisconsin cheese, a little red wagon and a dream.
John Figi began his career as a federal cheese inspector who understood quality, but he had a bigger vision. He wanted to give everyone the opportunity to experience the exceptional taste of Wisconsin cheese. In the early 1940s, he and his wife, Ann, started Figi’s Gifts in Good Taste in their apartment kitchen.
Together they compiled a list of 1500 names from various telephone directories in a five state radius, not knowing what to expect. Low and behold, the couple received 43 orders; they were thrilled. John and Ann purchased the best cheese to send. They hand cut the blocks and preserved the orders in cellophane that they melted on the stove.
Because the couple did not have a car of their own, the first packages were delivered to the post office in a little red wagon. And the rest is history.
Today, the Figi’s family of brands includes the holiday food and gifts catalog Figi’s Gifts in Good Taste, the home and gifts catalog Figi’s Gallery.

What a joy to find such clear thniking. Thanks for posting!
I am very offended with your company. I take weeks to contact you and get your catalog sent to our new address and request a pay later set up and you APPROVE it for $70.00, which years ago I had over $500.00 approval, and I order and then you send me a letter of refusal because of bad credit 4 or 5 years ago. It was not written very kind either. I am ashamed I even bothered with your overpriced catalog. I guess making over $3,000.00 a month does not qualify me for a few items.
I’m trying to find out what the expiration date is on some cheese spreads I ordered in November. Please advise.
Never use this company again! Very disappointed in customer service and rude response!
